... I saw 2 turtles, and a fun snorkel on the edge of a coral reef), a long wurtle and a lot of chilling out. I've discovered the delights of the hammock, and seem to not fail in falling asleep whenever I get into it! However, I did discover the hard way that you shouldn't try to jump into the hammock too quickly as you end up flat on your face on the sand! Much to the amusement to the girl who witnessed it! ...

Thank you for all your lovely comments, I really enjoy reading them. It's good to have some sort of connection with civilisation!

We've had 3 exams this week (I don't remember signing up for that!), which were on Mangroves, Coco de Mers and Turtles. I'm happy to say I passed them all (what a girly swot). I also tried my hand at making bread rolls and more flapjacks - all the bread we have is made by hand ...

Now the nice bits! The scenery is amazing. I�ve now seen a turtle while I was snorkelling, and amazingly on one of our beach patrols we saw a Hawksbill turtle come up the beach, dig a nest, lay over 120 eggs, cover it up and head back to the water! And I got the brill job of lying at the rear end counting the eggs as they were laid! That made it all worth while.

Morgen vertrekken we naar een privé eiland: Denis Island. Dat wordt een weekje onwijs relaxen want hebben daar alles inclusief en hoeven dus niet zelf te koken en boodschappen te doen. We sluiten onze honeymoon in stijl af :) Wat ze echter niet hebben is internet of telefoon. Sinds maandag zijn we op het grootste eiland van de Seychellen, Mahé. Prachtig appartement op ongeveer vijf minuten lopen van een - wederom - schitterend strand. Foto's hebben we nog niet overgezet dus helaas geen plaatjes erbij deze keer. We hebben zandkastelen gebouwd, in zee gezwommen, in het zwembad gezwommen. Marco heeft gedoken (mooier hier dan Praslin), Tamara kan helaas nog niet duiken (oor nog stuk), en we hebben tot drie keer ...
