Hi everyone!, So far in 2009 we only updated our cruising blog when we were in Dominica. For those of you who have loads of time, we have now included an update with the highlight of our stops on route from Grenada to St Martin. Dear Blog,

Another day, another adventure. We arrived at Antigua, Antigua and Barbuda at 8:00am this morning. Today promises to be a beautiful warm and exciting day as the sun is already rising along the island and showing off its bright golden rays.

Antigua boasts one of the Caribbean's most spectacular coastlines with secluded coves and beaches. The capital is St. John's and approximately 70,000 people live on the island. The official ...

... Its capital is St. John's. The official language of the nation is English, often spoken with a distinct Caribbean accent, and the official currency is the Eastern Caribbean dollar, although U.S. dollars are widely accepted.

... There were also alot of cliffs and neat rock formations that reminded me of La Jolla (La Hoy-ah for the Spanish impared). I even got a little video clip of me jumping off of one of the little cliffs. Next week I plan to take some more new trips like Parasailing and snorkeling with turtles. I'll buy an underwater camera to document all the cool things I see, and I'll write another post about it late next week. But for now, I need to throw my tux on and get ready for showtime.

Monday morning I was able to reach the doctor and get an 11:30 appointment the same day (just like the States!????!) We took the bus ($3.25 EC per person = about $1.30 US) into the capital of St. Johns. The bus station is conveniently located between the local fish market and the local produce market. We are at St. John and it is 07.00 am. It is the most "Virgin" out of all the other Virgin Islands .




Our sailing ship stops in the Ocean, and another one comes to take us to the shore. We get in line and we step in the smaller one which carries us out.
