... to Edmonton; as we do not leave for Europe until tomorrow in the afternoon. We had lunch in Ardrie, at Brewsters. Arriving here we went to the movie Pitch Perfect 2.
We are all excited about the trip and look forward to the adventure.

... Our journey from Pamplona to Santiago will be just over 700 kms.

P.S. Today's is D's birthday, and since the Journal had such a lovely article recently about the new Halo Bistro at the airport, we decided to check it out. Fantastico!

P.P.S Maybe because I am excited to the core, I thought I should share that I am sporting special bicycle-emblazoned knickers purchased from the store where Gracie works. Muffin top rules out photo opp.

... water come right out of our taps as most people in the world, this is not the case. Im sure some of you have seen this picture of the kid on facebook - "so youre telling me - you have so much clean water you **** in it?" love it...

These really are the two things I can think of that Ive missed - the rest I could do without, those two things tho I have missed the most :)

Some lessons learned:

-China Airlines sucks. I flew with them 4 ...

... us, passes us on the right side and then continues weaving in and out of the lanes, hangs his legs off the side of his motorcycle and even takes both hands off the handle bars and waves them in the air. He disappears in front of us.

By 3:30 we have dealt with insane traffic on the QEII, have encountered rain and are nearing Red Deer. We need to stop for gas and Heidi tells me that she is hungry. I can surely use a bite to eat ...

... I had a call from AJ to say that her bike might just be on its way and arriving tonight - maybe. Possibly. But let's not get too hopeful. It will get here when it gets here. In the meantime, she had a loaner bike, but no helmet and was swapping borrowed pedals over to beginner jobs (the kind I use!) so I offered to take her to her massage at TriNZ HQ, across the river, in the hire car, me driving, on the wrong side, without Graeme!
