Riga is the 2014 European Capital of Culture. I'm not sure what that title entails but I do know that the city was preparing for it with sites and museums closed ...
... and I slept in and then spent the rest of the afternoon at a cute local cafe where we got a delicious and fresh breakfast. We finally enjoyed breakfast the "European" way and sat there for over 2 hours just relaxing and enjoying ourselves. Before we left the cafe, we all left our mark in Riga and signed the cafe wall along with the hundreds of other signatures in various languages. The morning was definitely a perfect way to end an amazing trip!

The kebab was quite nice, although after being told that the sauce I wanted was quite hot, I found it not to be.
