... so special!

We headed off to see some more of Florence before we had to leave today. We walked the squares again, wandered through the leather market and crossed the Ponte Vecchio Bridge, window shopped and watched the stalls opening at all the goldsmith jewelery shops along the way. After a few hours we headed back to the hotel and sadly, we checked out. It takes about 30 minutes to retrieve the car (probably from Milan where ...

We went to Venice day 1... Oh my the city of water!! That place is built in such a robust way as you can definetly tell the Roman Empire respected that location and made sure it was home to a great nation and a portal to the sea! Cathedrals and Italian architecture everywhere you ...

... it was a short trip from Rialto Bridge to San Marco & back again! So, we got off & decided to wait for another ferry to do the round trip, only to see the ferry we got off go in the direction we wanted to go. We were again in the queue for the short trip, so decided to call it quits & go for a walk over the Rialto Bridge before heading home. Each time we have found ourselves in the wrong spot, wrong queue or wrong place it was compliments of advice by some Venetian service ...
