... home of Romeo and Juliet! We had booked an apartment for four nights so we could look around Verona and do some day trips to some nearby towns. We spent the first day having a look around Verona itself. We found some good places that had some amazing views out over the city. We also went to Juliet's balcony and had a look at the Colosseum where we would be watching the Opera the next day. Verona I thought was quite nice, very quaint. ... We hung out at this park for a little while, then ended up back at the train station. We had no idea we'd done a full circle of Venice! We went back to the hotel to pack, since it was raining while we were looking around in the train station, then went back out for dinner and a gondola ride. The gondola ride was super cool.
