Either we have become acclimatised or else it is not as humid today. We made our way onto the Palm by taxi, it's just a short ride, we can see the Atlantis from our hotel. By car you wouldn't even realise that you were on a made made island, you hardly get a glimpse of the sea driving along the main route. Everything is still very new but it not a building site at all.

... two of us. The Pearl ended up being about 50 bucks a night. Which is pretty affordable. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the nearest metro stop. Taxis are pretty darn cheap though.
