So after an extremely long flight I made it to Dubai! I highly recommend flying Emirates the flight was actually pretty good. I managed to get some sleep on the plane, arrived in Dubai at 5am and it's already 20degrees. ... will arrive at 6;30 pm. There is a 9 hr time difference.
It is currently 28C in Dubai. The stewardess says the eve is best- not as hot.
Going through Dubai customs/ airport was easy and stressfree. I was warned that no pics were allowed in customs/immigration and not to take pictures of the locals - the police would likely be called if I did.
Dubai is a city of 2.1 million and on the bus ride to the hotel, you had to notice how new and clean everything is. ...
