... we could take a monorail to the famous Atlantis Hotel and check out some of the sites. It was cool to see the palm shaped island and all the buildings on each palm branch, what an ingenious design....everyone can have a beach right outside their house! There's not much to say about Dubai airport apart from it's very shiny and I thoroughly enjoyed my salted caramel ice cream. They also had a beautiful oasis with running water and palm trees, which was very welcome to my jet lagged eyes.
