It was very very hot and even though we enjoyed the tour, we were happy to get back to our hotel, our room, and our shower. After a clean up we ventured down for an early evening meal. Very nice. ... House is low rise, simple yet elegant on the outside, but opulent inside. We hired a car here for a couple of days, an expensive exercise as the basic hire was costly, but the excess mileage costs were excessive (only 200km free per day). It was cheaper than taking a tour or taxi though and public transport wasn't an option. Drove down the coast as far as Sur, stopping at a couple of wadis en route and doing short walks - ...
