... and reflect. It's a tragedy to read over and over again, name after name, the young ages ..... fighting for a cause they may have never understood. We stop at a number of trench sites. The enemy within metres of each other at times - holding up .... waiting .... for what .... for most, death. With this we read a story of an ANZAC soldier being caught injured in no mans land. Gunfire stops ... A Turkish soldier grabs the ANZAC and carries him back to ...

There is a growing tourist trade from Europe, as the months of say November to March are much cooler, and appeal to Europeans escaping their winter. You can see they are trying to develop this trade with (ironically) a number of water based theme parks having been established in recent ...

    Living Up to Hype

... Farid, the guy from Paris, had told me I would be impressed by how modern the metro system is, and I was. It wasn't quite up to the scale of a mall, certainly not by Dubai's standards, but it was pretty close. In addition to the ticket counters and machines, there were small stores lining both sides of the interior. I ran inside a convenience store to purchase a couple of my favorite caramel stuffed waffle cookies, and then I went to buy my ticket.

I looked at the maps ...
