    ... near the dinosaur during which we were entertained by men dancing, joined by an out there woman tourist, and a dancing 'horse' we went to the taxi rank via the aquarium and the skating rink...very amused by the girls in abayas skating with the best of them. After the free welcome drink at the restaurant overlooking the creek we had a delicious Japanese buffet in the hotel and collapsed into bed ready to be up and on the way to the airport by 6.30 ...

    ... team. I have been averaging three grand a day and was getting very excited until someone advised me just what "grand" means. This is a Grand World Voyage so the money I have been winning is "Grand" Dollars which I can redeem for valuable merchandise at the end of the trip. If I continue at this pace I should have enough for a Holland America pen!

    ... Falafel. The premise was really neat and it felt almost like a food truck because the menu really focused on the one star of the show, falafels. Normally these little fried treats are not my favorite but this place did an excellent job and we really enjoyed finally getting a small taste of some relatively regional cuisine.

    Later that afternoon we were picked up along with a family of four from Argentina and headed off for the mandatory tourist rite of passage ...

    ... good and it leaves me with another 3 which I want to see on the second flight. When travelling you have a hell of a lot of time on your own with your thoughts, I'm not sure that this is actually a good thing for me, as I've always been very guilty of overthinking everything.     I have also included in this update a video taken on Clare's phone, (yes, the same one she took the award winning photo on). It's the Fountains, set to music with Burj in the background, while we were having lunch at Carluccio's.

    Thought this merited a celebratory entry in it's own right.
