      It had been about midnight when we arrived at the hotel last night, so today was our first view of Dubai in the sun. We started exploring in the area around us, the old town.       Tha Supermarket (French Carrefours) was brilliant. It was packed. People do seem to have monotonous diet! I saw a fellow by 24 chickens and nothing else.
