    Public transportation in Italy is phenomenal. You really could live here without a car. We decided to take the FrecciaRossa (high speed) from Bologna to Bari.     ... a cheese tray(parmesan, gorgonzola, etc). and salumi--mixed cold cuts: salami, the prosciutto. And the bread---oh, the bread! We couldn't call it a day without some gelatto to top ourselves off!
