Hi everyone from beautiful Santo Stefano Belbo in the Langhe/Roero wine region of Piedmont. The jewel in the crown as far as I'm concerned is the place we are staying: Tenuto Fagnanetto.i can't even remember how it found this place but I knew as soon as I saw it that I wanted to stay! It's a beautiful, family run agriturismo just outside of town. Our loggia is beautiful and we have a lovely terrace with stunning views of ...

From Pavia, we headed to Asti, Originally we were heading for a Vin Yard with the ability for an overnight stop with facilities (from our camperdstop book), sadly we got there and there was nothing so headed for our alternative Campeggio Cagnidi Asti - It was a predominately permanent vans but with a few touring pitches.

There we met Luisa and her son Gabrielle. She is from Ecuador, and is married to Rosa's nephew, Maurizio. After a drink we went to Giorgi's place for lunch. Giorgi's mum Piña and Vittorio were waiting, and Rosa came along too. Supposed to be a light lunch, but still managed to have quite a lot. ...

... castle, but didn't pay to go in. This place is famous for its wine, one being borgogno. Drove around to another castle close by, and we could see the Alps still covered in snow in the distance. Franco stopped to buy some wine, which seemed to be rather pricey. I could see Ester with a puzzled look on her face making calculations in the back of the car, after we left. Driving along to Vignale, we found some men at Grazziano Badoglio playing ...
