... unbearable to stand in. The last place the taxi driver took us to was the Dubai Mall which is the biggest mall in the world but to my surprise there wasn't very many people around. We decided then to go looking for food as we were all starting to get hungry. Though as we walked we noticed that all the food stores and restaurants were closed and we couldn't work out why. My dad wanted to find a store that sold cloth and it was almost midnight! Still a bunch of ppl outside, ...

... long and only 1/3 of the counters were open. Once we officially entered the country, we looked at what Dubai Duty Free had to offer us. After that, we went to collect our bags, only to find a sea of bags all over the floor surrounding the baggage belt. I asked myself "Who in their right mind did this?" Dubai Customs is also pretty lax, except for a few random security checks.

Once we left the building, we waited another 20 minutes for our coach ...

... arrived there was a mad dash to see who could get themselves into it so that their flights were not missed. Over and hour and a half later Jono managed to get us priority on the shuttle and we were finally off to the Airport, although a little wet and cold from the wait. Our forward thinking about staying the night in a hotel by the airport the night before our flight would go on to become a perfect decision as there were more surprises to come. Once at the airport a ...
