We took an open top bus first then a little red train. The entrance fee for the fortress was 8 euros per person. It used a big lift that can fit 60 people or a car. The towers and fortress weren't too impressive. I grew tired listening to the audio guide :P The view was amazing. ...

We hiked down the hill, and caught a paddle steamer boat ...

Really enjoying this river cruise. We have met so many nice people. I think there are about 180 guests and we seem to know most of them by now. Most are retired profesionals but there are also a few teenagers and a few young couples. Mostly people are from the States, UK, Australia or Canada. One couple are in the suite that features in all the ads for Viking cruises and Stefan was disappointed that the balcony was not as big as it appears on the ads! However we cracked a couple ...

Only update were I'm now.
Cut my day a bit short yesterday, because of bad weather. Stopped just short of Goerliz.
120 km, through wet and slippery bikeways, crossing the "Saxon Schweiz", very challenging!
It is 6am now, will have breakfast, the weather looks good, will leave towards Wroclaw Poland, was formerly under German rule called "Breslau ...
