We were planning to go to Liechtenstein but thought we may as well as it was sort of on our way. It's the worlds 6 smallest country so it would have been rude not to go..haha.
We didn't drive to the main town but to another.. where really there wasn't anything. I did get a photo with the tourist sign though. Had to somehow prove I'd been there!
... quick sites and then jumped back to Switzerland, crossed through Austria for an hour or so, and bam, were back in Germany, hehe....
Now I'm at Sebastian's brother's house, where we will go to sleep soon and visit München tomorrow...
abrazos!

... main city) and the surrounding area, and then walked around the town.
The next day we went into St Gallen with Elsa. We walked around the old city, and visited their beautiful church and main shopping centres. In the eve Heinz cooked my favorite dinner ever – Roesti!! And we watched 'Inspector Rex'.
On Friday Elsa took us to a mountain up a gondola, and we went for a walk. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best – very ...
... Feldkirch I got lost. Actually I was just trying to get to McDonald's because the group wanted a bathroom break and the public toilets here were not to our standards. Anyway, I drove past the McDonald's twice - once my fault and once the navigator's - and drove down a pedestrian only section of road before we gave up and continued on our journey out of town and deeper into Austria.
Feldkirch, Austrian Alps, Austria travelingdiva... weren't too interested so they took Lincoln (who couldn't go with us) and we went to have a look. It was a rewarding visit. It is amazing to think how long ago some of those books and transcripts were written, and how well cared for they must be to remain in excellent condition. The library itself is breathtaking, with leather bound books lining the shelves, large windows (no doubt filtered), elaborate woodwork and staircases, and a muraled ceiling ...
St. Gallen, St. Gallen, Switzerland travelingdivaGuten Tag everyone, or something like that. Well we won our last 2 games of the regular season and have one game left. We play in the championship game of some Euro championship cup. It's great that we are in this game but we have 3 weeks to chill before the game is played. The team we are playing plays in our league championship the week before. 3 weeks is a long break but we will make the best of it. We tried ...
Hohenems, Austria ign... had I been able to spot more stuff. While I respect the idea that one needs to search for the beauty of nature, I am paying a zoo to see animals...so show them to me. Lunch was a great value. The buffet-style (pay per hectogram) salad bar included rare tuna. I got a bunch of pieces for a low price. The view of the rainforest from the restaurant was also a treat. On the way back from the zoo, I first stopped at the polytechnic to check out the view from the patio. It ...
Zurich, Switzerland sjg209Today we drove to Lindau, Germany, and did our own walking tour. Lindau is an island in the eastern part of Lake Constance. It was quite overcast, but still lovely. I'm sure that on a warm summer day it would be filled with people sitting in the sun and enjoying all the open air cafes.
Then we were off around the lake ...
