... there would be no ride on the bike and definitely no ride on the cable car because Mont Blanc was shrouded in thick fog. So we spent the day wandering around looking in the shops and taking in the Chamonix sights. Lucky we brought our raincoats with us. The shops were mainly outdoor brand stores like North Face, Columbia and many others but we just looked rather than bought up big. The next day the sun was shining so we got up early and I ...

During the war ...

... Sofia and I all curled up on each other and tried to sleep until class started. The looks we got when the rest of the class came in were pretty good.

Today also seemed to be the day that I somehow managed to hit my head on my bunk not only once but twice…turns out bunks in Switzerland are just as hard as the ones in Australia. Also today the amount of sass Gloria brought to the camp was amazing! Wow ...

... part of Switzerland, along the Western Shore of the Bodensee, wasn't very scenic; the buildings were industrial and there were too many traffic lights along the road. After a brief traverse of a narrow part of Austria, we were finally back in Germany and eventually made it back to Lindau. It was a very long day of driving!

The hotel had warned us that they didn't have a parking space that we could rent for tonight, so we parked in ...
