    ... We walked around the wall then back to the restaurants to have dinner. We chose a three course dinner for 24 Euro. About 9pm we went back to the wall, sat at a table, drank red merlot wine and watched the tide come in until midnight. All tables and chairs were removed and the water splashed over the wall where we had been sitting. Alex used his camera to take timed photography every 20 seconds. It turned it into a movie.     ... empty and we were out of Radlers and Riesling. The sat nav has been great for this, select grocery stores and away we went to LIDL. We also took back our empty plastic bottles for a 25 cents refund per bottle to an automatic reverse vending machine. This spits out a voucher that takes the money off your shop, a great idea and makes a bottle of beer only cost 17 British pence after pfand.

    ... back to the campsite, it was almost 8pm the afternoon had flow over. It then began to rain so we unrolled to canopy.

    We realised in our haste to get into LEGOLAND that we had chosen a pitch too far from a hook up point, so are running on battery only for these two nights and using solar power to charge phones and cameras.

    ... I made maultachen for lunch with onions and tomatoes and we had corn on the cob. Maultachen could be one of my favorite German dishes and I needed to make sure I had it at least once more.

    It is not the TomTom’s patience which is stretched now, but, round we go again, third time lucky and soon we are in Germany.
