The place is full of tourists and was full of souvenir shops, restaurants and hotels. Modern art is their schtick and the streets are full of it. We could see the castle of the ruling family on the hill, took a mini-train guided tour and had lunch. In short, we wouldn't recommend it. On 9/26 we again deviated from our original plans in order to travel back Guarda to see the festivities involved in bringing the cows down to lower pastures for the winter.
