... the 8th century - WHOA!
While we didn't go into any of the museums (we spread these out so the kids don't get too bored with them), we did stop and enjoy a traditional treat called a schneeball (snowball) as we meandered back to the camper van. Imagine a crunch dough stuffed with milk chocolate and then dipped in it, too. We split it, and thank goodness we did or we would've been grossly stuffed ourselves! We kept today light, waking up late and spending the afternoon exploring shops in town before catching a train to Munich. Tonight we'll check into the Euro Youth Hostel and eat dinner at the Hofbrauhaus. Auf ...
Started this morning at 8.00 am with another delicious breakfast. We ventured back into town because Donna still need it by another teddy bear. We then decided to leave for Fussen and get under way. It was Stevens first time to drive in Germany and we left via the romantic road. In actual fact it was not that romantic in certain parts. We forged on and got Vern our Volvo C60 up ...
