Got the S-Bahn to Pasing, then a regional train from Pasing to Fussen with a change somewhere in between, took about 2 hours. After this a bus took us to ...

    The glory of Bavaria.

A travel blog entry by miss_melissa on Aug 08, 2014

... Melissa) Two days in Bavaria and not a single chocolate Bavarian to be seen. Not one! But the beer and food make up for it I suppose. The alps are amazing. The most impressive mountains in Australia look like dull mounds of earth compared to these things. When we got ourselves lost in the old part of Fussen I did get to put my extensive use of the German language to good use, asking someone (in fluent and flawless German) "where is the train station?" (One of 4 German phrases I can ...
