Insider tip, the area is packed May through to September. We waited 90 mins for tickets ( you can reserve in advance for this castle but not the others ) which wouldn't really make a difference because they only stop in every third room and tell you nothing about the place. ...

The lady that told us about the Monastery, also told us about Füssen and the Castle which is apparently Walt Disney's inspiration for Cinderella's Castle, we thought we would go have a look....

We arrived at around 1pm, the place was packed, car parks were full etc. etc.
