The view from the ship of traditional white houses with blue trim was unmistakeable Greek! We took a water taxi from the ship to Mykonos to walk around town and enjoy the picture-postcard views. The weather was slightly warmer than yesterday and we enjoyed a rain-free day. The sun actually shone brightly this ...

... Decided we should have a wander before settling in! Wandered 150m up the road to the Pounda Port where the ferry leaves for Antiparos. Had 2 amazing greek coffees. After having a little lie down, headed to the restaurant for buffet style dinner & some horrid red wine. Thank god we didn't order a bottle. It was served chilled! Lamb shank & greek salad. Very nice. Followed by choc mousse. Then decided to call it a ...

... out from the toilet and he saw the captain and his mate with a screwdriver and a hammer working on the engine. They eventually got the ol girl moving and we hustled our way to the lunch point.

We had lunch on a small beach front completely secluded and enjoyed freshly caught squid and a shot of Ouzo for the entre. As they cooked the main course of open gyros plates and shishkebabs we spent our time frolicking in the warm waters playing keep up volleyball. ...
