... on it. The second building was a guards room. There is also a tower with very narrow steps up to the top, within the walls there is an open air theatre which has regular performances in the summer.

We didn't want to rush off from our paradise beach, so we enjoyed the lovely location until after lunch, we filled the time blogging, sorting photographs and backing them up on the hard drive. ... t any where near full. We sat in Dream Catcher for the journey, it's only 10 kilometres from the main land. When we disembarked we chose to head east around the coastal road, our guide book described it as less touristy and more dramatic. We soon realised it was a mistake as a lot of the coves were not in the sunshine because the sun is low in the sky and were on the side of a mountain. ... of course farming, there are sheep and goats on the hillsides with shepherds and their dogs, grape vines cling to the steep slopes and the stubble from harvested crops remain on the patchwork of fields. We arrived at Thermes and parked on the Main Street, it's the only street! ... very funny. They were these two gorgeous sisters in their 80s who had moved to Berri in S.A. in 1958 and lived there and then moved to Adelaide when their children went to Uni. They were back in Greece visiting a cousin. We had a lovely chat to them and they were so happy that we were from Australia too!
