... areas of the castle. We learned that each major family that had occupied the castle had a unique design imprinted upon the end tiles of the roof. The level of detail is stunning. Upon entering, we were in a shoe-removal area, and put our shoes into bags to carry around with us.

... chose Chichū because it is the most significant and the Lee Ufan gallery because it was the only other one that would still be open. With the galleries of Naoshima it is the architecture that is also part of the art and so it is with Chichū gallery. The art space and even the cafe and book store are amazing.
