Today was a bit of a spare day, due to Nara being a shorter trip than planned, so I decided to head to Okayama which is on the route towards my next hostels destination of Hiroshima. Met a guy with a near camera setup in the mozzie infested himeji castle gardens but he wasn't directing his camera at the floodlit castle not the moon but almost straight up. I had thought he was there to capture the transition of the earth in front of the moon which was spectacular, but he was there to shoot the ISS as it whizzed across the heavens in less than six minutes. Today we woke up and listened to the creek through the screen door on the porch. The five of us took a short walk along the road admiring the beauty of the mountains and trees, then packed up our belongings. But before we left, we had another meal to enjoy.
