it was very windy and the next stop was too far to make in a day so we stopped at saint quentin. marina was technicaly closed so it wasmfree. Chatted to a scottish couple who have been bargeing all year round for 20 years. they said the power was still on so we had electrickery again. i chatted to them for an hour or so. they could talk the legs off an iron bathtub but very nice people. The promised land is busy
... charts there is no stopping for a looong way so i decided to call it quits for the day. Sitting in the marina i soon realised its a very busy canal. Every 20 mins or so a barge goes past. its a bigger canal so passing them isnt too hard.
