... of our lives!

We were straight on the phone for room service as soon as we dropped our bags and didnt stop eating and drinking til checkout the next day. They were probabaly glad to get rid of us as ther is no way they could have made any money out of us with everything we consumed- that wasnt the last of it though as we used the internet room for about 4 hours before we finally said goodbye! I think they did love us really though!

As ...
Tulum, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico fosweb... the place!) and then we realised we had to taxi to the terminal. Fair enough, got a non-descript car and a friendly driver, drove through the dilapidated city and were there with lots of time to spare. Initially people thought we were getting the local bus that was about to leave and they made us run – but we showed them our tickets and sat down to wait. There was an old guy trying to help anyone and everyone, hoping for some money. We didn’t have any coins as we had ...

Tulum, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico cristinita... or the even bigger spider in the bathroom. However the state of the supposedly clean sheets tipped it - we were out of there. We finally found a hotel out of town for double the price of our original one but by that time we didn't care! We crashed out early and were up and gone first thing the next day. After another try at getting our money back our original hotel to no avail, we headed for the Mayan ruins nearby. (To complete the hotel booking saga - we ...
Tulum, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico sarzmcTulum was ok but I think we were expecting too much, beautiful beaches yes and the water unbelieveably blue and warm but running out of money and time I think might have coloured our experience a little. We got attacked by mosquitos when we spent a night ...

Tulum, Mexico heidsontourAfter our diving in Cozumel we decided to take a couple days off and chill out in a town further south down the coast called Tulum. We stayed in a little cabana on the beach. It was very peaceful. We didn't get up to much there. We did go and see the Maya ruins next door which were pretty cool as they were literally on the coast line, very different to anything we had seen before. Laura and Dave joined us on our second night in Tulum. The next morning we dropped off our bags at a ...
Tulum, Mexico barbarabryson... in and grab a nice table for four in the sand. This place really has as great view in the daytime as it does at night. I have the pancakes with fruit and yogurt. These are sinfully delicious. No syrup required. And with all this fruit, its just gotta be good for me, right C? Chris gets the crepes, which are about as big as Hula Hut's tubular tacos. Sufficiently stuffed, let's find some nice beach to nap on. Zach and ...
