Pano Lefkara, Larnaca, Cyprus greekcypriotHappy 6th Birthday to Zak. Caught the shuttle but into town which was a long way from the ship and it was quite hot, so we didn't walk. Had a look at an old Castle but couldn't take photos so decided not to go right inside. Walked up and down and around all the streets. Went down to the waterfront which had a huge park right along it on the other side of the road. No beach; it was all rocks but quite pretty and relaxing. We had lunch in a Greek cafe where the ...
Limassol, Cyprus stephgraeme... way you enter Cyprus is the way you must leave, otherwise the Republic of Cyprus will consider it illegal.

Talk about political hotbeds. We have just left one and entered another, tourist are just sometimes a porn in their games, when all we want is to just travel freely and see what a country has to offer.

Tomorrow we head to Northern Cyprus in search of sand, oh and an escape route.
Limassol, Cyprus dinoshona... hard to find a
church, although in retrospect we could have tried a bit harder. We
got into Limassol and once again struggled a bit trying to find the
hotel but we managed. We went out for a wander and lunch and then
had a leisurely afternoon by the pool. That night we discovered the
old castle and tried the meat mezze. It was a nice night and
Limassol proved to be a worthwhile stop in Cyprus.
Limassol, Cyprus hazdeb50 weeks ago, I did something that ****** Lucy off. I went one country in front of her, and for the last 50 weeks, I have had to listen to her, how she needed to catch up, I even threw new countries in her face, but that didn't help, all she wanted to do was get level, and as her birthday was coming up, she went and made the decision, bought the flights, and finally, she was going to Cyprus. Now I'm not going to bore you all with a ...
Limassol, Cyprus uncle_davrosThis will be an on-going series about life in Ecuador. There are a lot of things to be aware of and which websites like International Living and Escape Artist don't dare mention. (These two website are perhaps the most popular for those who want to live, work and retire abroad.) Excerpts from my diary... Friday January 30, 2009 I tried to call my lawyer about Jayne's visa. I was told by her last week that she would get a ...
Limassol, Cyprus richlionWe set off quite early to drive up to the Kykos Monestary, one of the more famous monestaries high up in the mountains where Archbishop Makarios retired to and is buried (he was the first and fourth president of Cyprus). We took our time driving up, the roads are good but very twisting, and there are some magnificent views that should be stopped at to take in properly. On the way up the mountains we ...

The restaurant owner had one or two rooms to let, and my dad arranged each time we were up here, to spend the night in one, just to be next to the river and hear the ...
