Good day driving to Memphis. Left at approximately 10:30 a.m., took it easy, stopped for a nice breakfast, fueled the truck and arrived at Graceland Rv Park around 4:00 p.m.

After we were set up I got on the internet and saw a message saying that our furnace at home was not working. Oops... Another hurdle! Got on the phone but oops, the laptop is not ...

Then some more good music in an outdoor plaza but it was Beatles not blues. Got back to the top of the street without finding any restaurant with live blues. Delta Crush were playing in ...

Nashville
After two very short flights, we arrived in Nashville mid-afternoon and checked in to our very nice Airbnb accommodation. We put on some extra clothes as it was a bit chillier than Waxhaw and went for a walk in search of food before the concert at the Ryman Auditorium. We found a little arcade with a bunch of food stalls but is really only set up for the lunch crowd. But we managed to find ...

I step out into a crisp, windy Memphis morning to walk Oscar around the Mud Island River Park across the street. True to form, he wastes no time splashing into the ice cold Mississippi River for a morning swim. The thick, dried out brush he pushes through on the water's edge turns out to be thistle so we spend the next half an hour back at the hotel untangling spiky burrs from his coat.

Breakfast is eggs and bacon with biscuits ...
