    Day 1 - Into the East, and two times the falls!

    We started in Spokane after flying in from Seattle.

    First stop ... Costco in Coeur d'Alane to get some supplies for the road. Lots of water, and some meal bars to save on snacks. Then comes the realization that we (ie: Stuart) forgot our bag of bathroom supplies!

    Second Stop ... Walmart! Bathroom supplies bought, along with some other extra items (sun screen most importantly).

    Now, finally, on the ...

    The tour begins... soon.

    I've already met many nice people out here in Washington state. I'm going to have some business cards made up with info about the tour website because everyone keeps asking about it.

    ... and melancholy. It has truly been nine months of discovery, unknowns, welcomes, warmth, re-connection,remembrance, comfort, uncertainty, new-ness, affection and fun. There was no hum-drum, daily grind, same-ness or ordinary but more on our reminiscences in the FINAL final Odyssey posts....

    ... I make an evasive move and drop a gear and swerve to the right around them both and hit the gas! phew! .... thank god for Faat and Furious Movies!!! closest I will come to drifting this car! maybe! haha!

    ... one point he yelled, “don’t be mean, I’m not a killer.” He was not going away so the cops were called. I was kinda hoping they would be taping an episode C.O.P.S. It would be fun get on tv, but no such luck. Two different squads pulled up and talked the boisterous man into moving on down the road. In the end he was just a harmless lost intoxicated man. Who knows how many other people he bothered that night.
