We began our Trip to Borneo at The Shangri la Rasa Resort, which lies 20km north of Kota Kinabalu and faces west to the South China Sea. It's swathed in Palm trees, surrounded by tropical rain forest and has a 3km long, white sandy beach with nothing else in sight. Our room had  one of those "Kodak" vistas overlooking the bay. There wasn't enough energy even for the gym and so, with cats, dogs and all other animals raining down, some takeaway food and a movie was all that came in between us and ...

... any Orangs on this trip to Borneo, but as we spent a few days with them when we were last in Borneo we aren't too disappointed.

Tomorrow it's back to the airport to pop over to Bali....
