... Tahiti, across the international date line so we arrive in the afternoon of the day before we left. Phileas Fogg would have understood. The flight from NZ to Tahiti had a few bumpy moments with the seatbelt sign going on more than a few times. The Kiwi Experience office named us 'high priority' on the standby list for the next days bus (that was also full). ...

... was a lovely evening and when we arrived back at the hostel we stayed up in the common room before we said our goodbyes to Louise who was leaving the next morning. On my final full day in New Zealand I caught another ferry to Waiheke Island. Sophie had already been so decided to stay around Auckland and we joked that it would be good for us as we were weening ourselves off each other! The ferry ride was slightly longer than the journey to Devonport and it arrived in a really ...
