... south Tehran is poor... And more. All in a 20 minutes and well worth the fare.

The rental car has sat nav, thank goodnes. However, we are now on pretty familiar turf. We headed off to Bad Homburg for lunch at our favourite potato restaurant. Now we are in Usingen at one of our favourite little hotels, the Kaminstube and are meeting our friends, Adelheid and Joachim for supper.

... service I think I received from the lovely Lufthansa flight attendant that checked me in and you get my current mood. She mentions that she very kindly put me in an exit row seat for my first flight because I'm tall. Nawwww. Oh well...it was only 1.5 hours. At least the same ...

We arrive in Frankfurt around 11:00 a.m. David gets instructions on and where to take the train into the city. As we ride along I noticed that the color of the leaves are now turning yellow and orange. The country side is just beautiful. The part of the city that we saw was mapped out like a
big mall. No traffic! You can walk in every direction and not have to cross a street. MY feet are holding up as we are going ...

So after a long flight with some pretty bumpy turbulence and a screaming baby, during which I managed to get about 2 hours of sleep, we made a pit stop in Germany. My first thought was "YUM, German food is the best." Unfortunately for my taste buds, we were only there for about 10 minutes. By the time we walked all the way across the airport and got through security, it was time to board the plane. No biggie, Turkey and Greece will have plenty of food for me to ...

... are enormous. I don't know how many boulevards with 8 lanes or more we had to cross. No street life to watch just long empty sidewalks to walk along with not much to see that is interesting! We have made plans for tomorrow but Thursday might be tricky. There is a hotel with good wifi though according to Lonely Planet and maybe we can hang out there for quite a while. Cooler weather is nothing one can expect here. Minimum mid 20 and then up to mid ...
