The War in the Pacific National Historical Park is located on the Asan Overlook and commemorates the battles on the island during World War II. The US invaded of the island in 1944 and regained control from the Japanese, leading the path for the eventual attacks on Japan. Afterwards, we pass by the Naval base as we head back to Tumon Bay.

After disembarking at ROR, I was immediately handed a boarding pass to continue on to GUM. I knew the second segment of UA 192 had 30-something empty seats, so I wasn't worried about being able to continue onward after getting the last seat out of Manila.
