Comfortable and quiet airport hotel, could be anywhere in the world, but only 10 minutes away from the airport by free shuttle bus.

We slept well and I got up about ten o'clock, and a little later we walked down to the beach where there was a Sunday craft market which we didn't really spend much time at. As the pier was only three minutes away we walked down to the end of it and saw another view of the city. Amanda needed her swim so while she splashed around I lay on the very …

I had the worst headache of my life and I actually think I may be going crazy but I think it was all to do with the draft and I had to go take pills and lay down! The whole family was downstairs watching old home vidoes of the kids laughing and laughing. I finally got up and had the hottest shower of my life then was ...

Pausing to watch the roller coaster in Luna ...

Another event of interest was when B got stuck in the lift at work! She had finished work for the day and decided to do a bit of shopping in town. Afterwards she had to go back upstairs to the lunch room at work and there just happened to be two other girls from work in the lift at the same time. When we got to our floor though, the lift doors opened, ...

... left down in the docklands. We had some walking to do. We walked along the harbour there were several restaurants that looked busy so we stopped for dinner. I was getting tired of fish so we shared a salad and a pizza. I was really impressed with the unique architecture of Melbourne they took fairly ordinary buildings and made them look interesting by using different colours and shapes of balconies. We got back in time to pick up our bags ...
