      Friday afternoon saw us back in Holland - Yes! As soon as we arrived it was time for lunch and although we did go to Maccas the lunch was a thoroughly Dutch one! We also enjoyed looking at an Ikea Store and in the evening it was again time to meet up with some special people. (H)

      ... and they played for dancing into the small hours out on the open top deck. Then home for a well needed sleep, up for the formal AGM proceedings at which plans were made for next year's meeting in the Danish waters of the Baltic (so that's next years trip planned!) and lunch on the pontoon next to Jonathan, another 60 foot Classic wooden S&S.       ... Pancake shop - again people were queuing outside. Amsterdam really is a 24 hour city and also lacks the strict Sunday trading laws of the UK. supermarkets are open until 10pm on a Sunday! I didn't realise this at all so kept expecting people to tell me they were closing at 5 or 6pm. I went back to the Anne Frank house and the queue was the same length as before. I read that the queuing time was 45 minutes (I waited an hour in the end). I ...

      ... everyone out the front of their restaurants calling out for you to eat their steak or try their ribs.. It's quite hard to find somewhere you want to eat when you feel you can't even look at a menu without them hassling you.finale we gave into one of them and had a meal.

      ... and now want to start a shop selling them in America so everyone can have it. I may go back just to eat another. I also noticed the burgers and wraps all set on, not a bed of lettuce, but of some dry broccoli cabbage salad with carrots, and that is a great idea I'll steal too.
