I waited and waited and then decided to try our back up plan to meet at the car rental. Then I waited there, I even waited the 1/4 mile to the parking garage (all with my heavy packs!). Finally, I went back to the restaurant area. I was about to give up when I heard little voices yelling "Memere!"

We started off the day by going inside St. Stephen's Basilica to see the interior- beautifully ornate with gold leaf and marble. In a side chapel is the right hand of St. Stephen, apparently miraculously preserved since 1038. The pipe organ was being tuned while we were there, in preparation for a concert tonight, if we didn't already have tickets for the ballet, we would have gone. We'll try to catch another concert....
