Budapest a short wander through the streets of the old town before back on the bus ( to warm up ) and heading across the River Danube to Heroes Square Beautiful square of huge proportions with many amazing statues once again the 7 tribes depicted by the seven horsemen. Wonderful buildings and a park around the square. We drove from Herod Square down a wide street towards the River Danube passing many beautiful buildings ...

    ... immigration. We agreed to meet for lunch in the airport and then my wifi stopped working.

    I waited and waited and then decided to try our back up plan to meet at the car rental. Then I waited there, I even waited the 1/4 mile to the parking garage (all with my heavy packs!). Finally, I went back to the restaurant area. I was about to give up when I heard little voices yelling "Memere!"

    ... Sorry if you're currently crying, but that's your history lesson of the day. After yesterday's event, people had also laid flowers and a couple of candles there too. After that, we thought we'd loop round by the parliament, on our way back to the hotel.
