I waited and waited and then decided to try our back up plan to meet at the car rental. Then I waited there, I even waited the 1/4 mile to the parking garage (all with my heavy packs!). Finally, I went back to the restaurant area. I was about to give up when I heard little voices yelling "Memere!"

A great first full day on the trip. Food on the ship is excellent and we continue to meet nice and interesting people. Although today was forecast for rain, we were lucky in that it stopped before our morning outing and, in the afternoon, rained only while we were inside a site. The nightlife in Budapest is fantastic. The ruins bars/pubs are becoming really renowned, and I was eager to check them out. Basically they are abandoned buildings from the bad old communist days, that were converted into bars and pubs by enterprising young businessmen. ...
