Conveniently close to the airport, and located by a bus route with direct access the central Helsinki. The room had a kitchenette and was clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful with local information and bus schedules, and let me leave my bags while I went into town for a while, then drove me back to the airport.

We had the room until 2pm which was ...

Oh by the way, it's now 12 days until Christmas, so we bought our first Christmas ornament. A handmade Finnish girl holding a wreath. The Christmas market was really good, and not too pricey like all our friends have told us about Scandinavia. 2€ Glugi, and free tastings of smoked fishes and cheese...a winner indeed.

... and movement as you pass through. It was great for Orla until... some irritating Americans decided to follow us closely through the whole installation uttering insightful observations such as "Wild man!" in their nasal drawl. I employed the Finnish attitude to such distractions whilst Kate preferred her usual stance in such situations. A Wander through the quiet streets in the sun was really interesting, seeing the locals relaxing ...
