Conveniently close to the airport, and located by a bus route with direct access the central Helsinki. The room had a kitchenette and was clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful with local information and bus schedules, and let me leave my bags while I went into town for a while, then drove me back to the airport.

We headed back out arranging to meet Kate in an hour for lunch. After exploring we headed back early so as to avoid any tardy based tantrums. I am horrified (and slightly smug) to report that one of our party was late for the rendezvous! (One for the late bank). Lunch was ...
... have three lines which are colour coded! We had time to chill out and cool down before we went out to the Folkloric which was good. You wonder how some of these performances are going to go, but this was fantastic. Male Cossack dancers are just so masculine! And there was enough pretty girls to keep Alex amused. The variety of singing, dancing and humour was very well done. So to bed, ready to leave on the Allegra train to ...
