Fortunately, everything was on time for our flight home today. We took a taxi to Charles De Gaulle and departed right around 12:30pm. before sorting all his gear out - He did try to be as quiet as possible but he did make some noise - Dave slept through it all like a hibernating grizzly bear. LJ eventually switched the light out about midnight after having a read. We had run out of ways of trying to wake Dave up in such a way that he wouldn't have known it was us.
