Well we picked up our camper on Friday the fifth, had our orientation and headed down the road. We stayed at a campground about 30 miles away, set up and immediately ran into problems, the leveling system did not work. After some phone calls we discovered that all was well and we were not given all of the info we needed. Fast forward, traveled to Cahokia IL. Arrived at our campground and guess what, the leveling system did not work at all nor would the slide-outs which mean't ...

Now, we proudly fly our Gold Looper Flag on Satisfaction’s bow. We are happy to be home with family and friends, and feel blessed we had the time to take this wonderful journey. These are memories that will last a lifetime. The question now is "what do we do for an encore?"

Today we spent some time in the line ride. First there was the line ride waiting to be "inspected" at security. Then there was the line ride to buy tickets. Once we scored our tickets we had to wait about an hour before we could begin the 3rd line ride of the day (to pass the time the three of us lined up in the westward expansion museum..nobody seemed to want to join our line ride.. j/k).

        ... pie which
was also very good. This version was very dense and fluffy. After dinner I went for a swim in the indoor hotel pool.

After breakfast at the hotel, we drove to the Vicksburg Visitor Center to get some brochures. The woman was very helpful and after our stop there we went to Vicksburg Military Park which is right across the street. We started in the visitor center looking at the exhibits and short film about the siege. Then we drove through the whole ...

... was to arrive on the riverfront in St Louis before 12 noon and take a bus tour of St Louis which I did. The bus tour lasted 1 1/2 hrs and showed a lot of the attractions/museums/history etc and was good value for the money. A lot of the museums, attractions and the Zoo are free of charge to get in. If one was to come to St Louis to sightsee one would need at least a week. After I went over to see the Gateway Arch ...
