... made our own spring rolls. For future reference the restaurant was called Madame Lans. On reflection we have done a disservice to Da Nang. It is a city and as such does have a lot to offer. If we were to come to Da Nang again, which we hope we will, we would definitely book accommodation on the beach. We did try this time but because of Tet they were fully booked. We are off to Hanoi tomorrow, then Halong Bay for our mini ...

Back home on the bike and a taxi to the Glory Hotel to pick up sista and bruv and down Cua Dai roiad to a cafe on the water where we had pork spare ribs and you guessed it, Spring Rolls washed down wd ith 333 beer. Later we went further down Cua Dai road to meet a local wheeler and ...

... of Hoi An and took it all in, I started to really relax and enjoy myself, especially as I haven't been on a bike properly in almost 10 years. The helmet came off. We both felt like kids again! There were always obstacles to watch out for, which kept the adrenaline pumping. We witnessed two cows running down the road towards us, people crossing the street without a moments notice, overtaking slow elderly cyclists and mopeds on the outside, car doors opening, crossroads were chaos ...
