Today we slept through the first alarm....well Joy turned it off and snuggled back down into the very comfy bed......so the net result was we started our tour of the galleries a little late. But it really didn't matter.

Today was the day to visit Parma's main art gallery, and, as it turned out, the day that Joy found herself nose to nose with a drawing painted by Leonardo da Vinci. She knew that it was in the gallery but thought it would be behind armoured security glass and so on. Oh no, she was quite literally nose to nose with a da Vinci - for the second time on this trip - so she was understandably on an artisitic high when she finally emerged from the gallery. ...
Yep, moving on day, to Parma this time, so an early start, after an excellent dinner last night. Up at 6am so that we could breakfast, pay hotel bill, bring down luggage etc by 8.05 for the taxi that was booked to take us the short distance to the bus station for our 8.30 bus to Pesaro.
