Then, this morning we tossed a coin and headed north...
So, up the east coast we went and after a quick glance at Ravenna, just couldn't park anywhere, and what's more, really couldn't see much reason ...

We shared 3 appetizers: an asparagus mousse sitting in a pool of Parmesan cream sauce, deep fried Parmesan puffs, and a plate with a variety of hams. Really delicious. We also tried a local white wine which was bright and refreshing. ...

... of farming. Arrived safely in Bologna where we switch to another train to Parma. Noticed a young man helping someone with a heavy bag and showing him where to validate his ticket. Then he stands there with his hand out! Not a Good Samaritan after all. Made it to the hotel and only had to ask for directions twice. We were so close! Walked right by it. Arg! Very nice room, larger than the last two and very big by European standards but no breakfast include. We went ...
