We left Roma, to head to Venice via fair Verona early yesterday morning. ... one lane and finding yourself in a really cool area or even a dead end! Kind of like a maze...also found ourselves back in the same places a couple of times! We had drinks and appetizers at one place and then dinner at another! Venice so far is awesome! Amazing to see such a unique place and to think there are no cars, just the lane ways and canals is pretty incredible! Looking forward to what tomorrow and the next couple of days here bring! xoxo ...

... a bit), cooked a bit more and then cooled. The onions and sardines are layered in alternating layers, covered with saran wrap and left in the fridge for at least 2 days. They will keep up to 4 weeks. We made an onion marinade and now they are sitting for two days before we can eat them. All of this was accompanied with several glasses of Prosecco (at 10:30 a.m.!)

    Tomorrow, risotto....stay tuned.
