When in doubt, do it anyway!
It was very special to join Clarissa for a girlie-soul-sister two days in Cap Ferret. The Cap Ferret is a cape forming a French coastal strip which lies at the southern end of the peninsula of Lege-Cap-Ferret in the Gironde. It seperates the Atlantic ocean and the Bay of Arcachon. We made our way there after Clarissa picked me up from the train station in Bordeaux.
We stayed at a 2 bedroom b&b in a very tranquil, beautiful white room!! ...
Narly surfing time dude!
... till 5.30 ish and headed back for showers. There was a bit of a mix up as to wether we were going out tonight or not.. By the time we got sorted it was near 8 so we thought we would save a night out for our last night... Tomorrow. So for tonight we got sausage pasta salad a few beers and properly another game or two of worms! We have a 4 mile run tomoz, once that is done with we'll enjoy another good day on the beach. Night night ...
Still no Narly Surfing!!!
... over there but for tonight it's chicken and chorizo stir fry!!! It was good.... while we still had a bit of Internet time we used it to try to catch up on some of the olyimpics goings on on YouTube and most of our neighbours knew exactly what we were up too listening to our amazement at the amount of golds we have won and after watching us replay the 100m final about 10 times!! That was about all... Hopefully I will be telling you about beach time tomorrow!! ...

... head back to the comfort of the van and put Fight Club on... Major problems though!!! Loud rain noise meant rubbishy weak iPad speakers were not loud enough so had to abort that mission and resorted to Worms!! After a couple of hours chilling, the weather started to brighten up so we headed to the ping pong tables so I could give Lorna a bit more training... Off to the Surfing Capital!!!
... a look at the waves and to see if we were going to be able to do our 7 mile run there tomorrow!! I was more excite by the waves than if we could run, there was loads of people out surfing, waves were pretty good, gonna hire a board out in the next couple of days and practice being narly dude!!! Beach looked good for a run too so all was good!! We stayed off the beer a bit tonight to make sure the run wasn't any harder than it needed to be ...
