It's been a couple of weeks since the last update due to the Christmas break and no work undertaken The building is now watertight with a roof on (no tiles yet - these are coming tomorrow) and from inside a very strange green glow from the waterproof material The oak beams have been installed and look amazing ... The next few weeks will show more changes with a proper floor and internal wiring ...

There's then a few comic moment as we hop from car park to car park, trying to find the one nearest the beach, but finally we park right next to a shingle dune, which we scamper up and grab a couple of pictures. Somewhat annoyingly this part of Chesil Beach looks more like stock pictures of the Jurassic Coast than Lyme Regis. Never mind, Wikipedia confirms that West Bay is indeed one end of Chesil Beach so tick that box.

My evenings were spent having a cold beer, watching the sunsets and making catching a movie or two on the iPad. I try not to look like a twerp when I use my tablet, eyes glued to it for hours, but it really has been an invaluable travel companion. I've skyped, booked tickets, watch films, read books, planned adventures and documented some incredible sights on this little device and most importantly of all, been able to chronicle this journey. It showed it's worth again.
