... and culture. The Cairo traffic is like nowhere else. Packed onto highways, streets with no rules. Constant honking, scraping of cars against each other as everyone tries to get to their destination. Too many people are jammed like sardines in this city. As we venture to the different ancient sites, you get glimpses at how most of Egypt lives. Mass apartment complexes next to each other, so close that no one has their privacy. Laundry ...
... release movies! Woohoo. Arriving into Cairo we were met by a top deck driver and taken back to the hotel. The airport was quite small, full of men just standing around and everyone, even customs officials, Smoking! I would have been scared by ourselves. The car park was filled with cars that were from the 80s or older and were pretty banged up. It was clear that we were in a third world country. The drive was so scary, there are no road rules or indicators, ...
