We had hoped to stay another night at Quail Lodge, but they were fully booked, so we checked out and drove down the road to another 1950s motel, Parry Lodge. ... have to wade through the Virgin River where the canyon narrows. Back at the campsite we had a BBQ and camp fire to dry out all our trainers!!! The stars were absolutely beautiful tonight you could see clusters of stars like we haven&#8217;t seen since Australia. Tomorrow we will visit nearby Zion National Park, and on Sunday Bryce Canyon National Park.<br><br>Also of note: change of plans. We will no longer be visiting the Petrified Forest, but instead will continue into Colorado to Mesa Verde National Park, before heading down into Santa Fe, New Mexico. <br><br>Talk to you all later.!

Day 70 - Friday, August 29, 2008 - Bryce Canyon NP to Zion NP Today is the day we left Bryce Canyon NP for Zion NP.
