We had a delicious breakfast before boarding the bus at 8 am. We drove to Bastogne to pick up Henri, our guide for the day. Henri pointed out a few important buildings in the town on our way to the Bastogne Barracks Museum. At the museum, our two veterans were each honored with a plaque. The girls went to bed and Mike and I, who didn’t feel like kebabs for dinner ducked downstairs for a bowl of minestrone and a glass of red wine.
