An amazing place

California Zephyr Leaving Denver
... far no delay on today's Zephyr. BUT! I discovered a major downside when I am arriving SF. For the worst cases, I may have need a taxi back and forth to the hotel in downtown SF crossing bridges. The California Zephyr arrives emeryville and Coast starlight departs from the Oakland. Both Emeryvillle and Oakland are 3 miles apart but about 11 miles away to down town SF. I ha ve thruway bus reserved to and from Emeryville and down town but time is too tight esp. ...

... we dragged ourselves away and headed back to the tram - it was too dark and scary to walk. Karma must like us as on the way back a car pulled over and a guy leant out the window. At first I was a bit worried but he started saying something about free tickets for public transport I was like awesome!! They had given us weekly passes which still had a few days left on them meaning we could use all the public transport for free! including the Tram ride back to the hostel! ...
