We were SO lucky with the weather - absolutely glorious sunshine, but not too hot so it was comfortable to walk around Venice.

Elaine and I wake up early and catch the vapporetto to see the city in the morning, and get another ride before or ticket expires. It is a gorgeous sunny day, the sun is coming through the fog and the city is already hopping. Delivery boats clog the waterways as the working people rush off to their day. The vapporetto is the bus people use to go to work ...
