... freely running around and constantly fed carrots by the visitors. I also saw a kebab floating stand, something I never expected, although there was no chance I would try the kebab given the colour of the meat didn't match anything I had ever seen before.

Finally, we went to the well known Kampung Daun restaurant to see what all the fuss was about. The restaurant is set in a beautiful surrounding of mini waterfalls ...

... We almost completed the entire house's siding but had to wrap up in time to get over to the YMCA and start getting ready for dinner. Special shout out to Anthony--Happy 23rd ...

Certainly when I get back to Atlanta I'll become involved with my local Habitat affiliate. Showers at the Y. Nap on the bus ride home (see pic). Watch ...

I was so surprised when I arrived, the district was stuck in the gold rush era. There were people dressed up, horse and carts roaming around, men welding and women sewing. There was a steam boat and train which I would of liked to go on but due to time I couldn't. But just sitting eating lunch whilst watching the train go past ...

... with a FFE and sometimes with a rear spoiler as well! So yeah, I took one of these to reach the Lake. FINALLY!

I should say, that by this time I was bored (mainly due to the traffic) and had no interest in the lake. I just wanted to see it now so that if someone asked me, “oh you went to Bandung? Did you see Kawah Putih?” and I did not want to say “No”. But the view that awaited me was far more worth than the effort I had taken to see it. In ...
