... Lolly shop. Those crazy kids thought they could buy up half the shop while we were distracted talking. Lucky Clint caught them before they paid. Andrew wasn't quick enough.
We then went for churros. It is a very Spanish thing to do around 6pm. They taste amazing. We are late, it is 8:30pm. Take it from me, they do not digest well at that hour of the night. I woke during the night & felt so full & disgusting. Should have listened to Leana on that ...

... school and other points of interest along the way. We get to a look out over the ocean. The wind is blowing. Mac assures me the view from the top is worth getting cold and wet. He chooses to stay in the car with Lily. When I imagined the view on a clear day, it was worth it.

... gets dark. We stop for dinner and face time Leana. We are just over 2 hours away. Andrew has discovered our plan but the kids have no idea.
She has organised for us to go into the apartment. She sends through directions and we hit the road again.
Lily is fed and is coping well. We put her on her tummy at each stop and let her kick and wriggle her crazies out. It is a lot to ask of her to sit in that car seat for 10 hrs+ but with the help ...

First days in Oviedo have been a little weird. The city is supposedly small but I'm still pretty much completely lost wherever I go excluding a few places. Although if you go up to a park above my apartment you can see the snow covered cordilleras (mountains) and it's pretty beautiful. I can't wait until the weather is warmer and less rainy so I can go on hikes. Other than that, I'm just trying to get used to living in ...
