        ... than the bus which took 4 hours, I arrived at the bus station in less than 3 and was luckily able to get a seat on the 12.30 departure for Sao Luis as only 5 seats remaining.

        Hello!! Well this is a "blog on the jog". For the first time since we started this trip I am typing this in real time on of all places a tour bus - yes another one - the last one! We disembarked from the boat at Santos this morning and are doing a day tour of Santos and then being taken to the airport in Sao Paola where we will fly out late tonight.         Bonito in Portuguese means 'beautiful' and trust me, the sunny town of bonito truly is beautiful! The little town is green, quaint & full of beautiful, vibrant flowers.
