A travel blog entry by cassie.goehring on Jun 20, 2015

Today our first stop was in Messina, Italy. This is a port that we visited last time we went on our Mediterranean cruise. We decided to do a little exploring on our own this time. We rented a little car ( as you do when you are in Italy). The streets are very narrow and roads aren't that great so it definitely was an experience! Our so called tradition owners have nothing to complain about at all, when you hear the history of Malta and what they have had to go through as a Country to survive. This place is defiantly somewhere that we would visit ...

An early start today as we are off to Sorrento and Pompeii. We joined our bus and travelled along the shore of Salerno Bay before turning off for Sorrento. We had two hours here and mainly for shopping but we strolled along the Main Street and then returned along a little back street filled with shops. The area is renowned for lemons and so there was lemon soaps, lemon cookies and of course limoncello After some time in Sorrento we continued to Pompeii, we had ...
