    ... I did not expect to feel a little uneasy. Perhaps it is the distinctive old smell of timber, stone and furniture, or the quiet that accompanies the vastness of this castle at night. Perhaps I was a little too tired !!!

    When I arrived in Florence on the 4th June the Italian weather was not very nice but I did a quick wander (about 2hrs) around the city and snapped a few shots on my phone while I waited for my room to be ready. After lunch I headed back to the hostel to put my gear in my room and grab some wifi. Later on in the afternoon I met a couple of Aussie guys that were staying in my room and it turned out that there was a bus load from Busabout and a bus load from Contiki staying ...
