After a very stormy night we took our time getting going, whilst Les got ready for us to leave, I walked Logan to the beach, the dug up sand sea defence had stood up to the storm and all was well with the closed up businesses. We had lunch and then walked into the town to visit the museum which is housed in the exquisite Palazzo Vitelleschi a courtyard centred house. We arrived at Tarquinia which is situated atop of a hill and found the site we were looking for, it closed at dusk, as it was already after 3.00 we decided to visit on the morning, we drove to Tarquinia Lido, about 5 kilometres away to find a camping spot.
